FARM VISITS AND SMALL GROUP ON-THE-FARM ACTIVITIES
You are welcome to visit Wooden Shoes Farm near Rockford, Minn., 17 miles west of I-494 and Hwy. 55 in Plymouth. This is a working dairy goat farm. You can arrange for your small group or your co-op to visit and enjoy a personally tailored program about goats or cheesemaking. Spring is the ideal time to visit with all the new kids. If you are looking for an on-the-farm setting for an orchard visit, we suggest Honeybee Apple Orchard near Buffalo, MN. Make a day of it, come with your family or co-op for a visit and pick your own tasty apples. There you will also find goat cheese, organic maple syrup, honey, and weekend pony and hay rides. Acorn is not offering organized field trips this fall, you can stop by for a visit any day 10 to sundown. Click on the apple to email questions.
